The Dj + Live Artist Accelerator teaches working musicians how to transform their existing performance skills into a premium, independently bookable entertainment experience.

The FIVE CORE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE DJ MUSE SOCIETY TRANSFORMATION

  • Equipment as a female musician! How to find something that works for your body and your life. Rekordbox or Virtual DJ depending on your pricepoint, beat matching, easy mixing, phrasing (but we arelready know what that is!), and honing music selection for each event.

  • How exactly are you going to create a complelling 60 minute + DJ set rather than just relying on your Spotify playlist choose what you are playing over next. It can’t build a great set. That is your job and it’s easier than you think. You already know all the best songs to play now you get to be in control.

  • Ok this is where the rubber hits the road! How are you going to be switching between DJing and playing your instrument? We are going to figure it out together and make it fun and easy for you. We will figure out your audio routing, microphones, effects, and those fun Dj transitions and how and when to use your instrument to make your performances more valuable and more compelling than ever before!

  • We will learn how to read the crowd. What happens when they stop dancing? WHY DO THEY STOP DANCING?!! How to get them back immediately from the bar to the dance floor. Handling technical problems in the fly, managing requests ( OR NOT!), and understanding sound production and how to keep your speakers and yourself healthy for the long haul.

  • Even if you don’t know this movie reference it’s time to “Show me the money!” We will go over the grave importance of packaging, pricing, selling verbiage, refinement of contracts, marketing on IG and TikTok (not going crazy) and easily selling your clients your brand new DJ + Live services.

I’m Dj Divina, Danielle Turano, and I created the Dj Muse Society to help professional musicians learn how to DJ, integrate their live instruments, and build their own independent performance experience.

Our small- group intensives combine with hands on DJ training, live performance techniques, and the business skills to help you develop, market, and SELL your own DJ+live act the very next day.

Set Intentions & Reflect

Together we will build on what we learned in Day 1. Now that we know how to beat match we are going to start mixing, phrasing of the music, get fancy with some harmonic transitions, and take some time to build a set that gets you EXCITED to play over!

Look Forward & Wrap Up

Day 3 is all about putting these new skills with your already established ones together. We will integrate your instrument, discuss audio routing, DJ and instrument effects, and where to play your instrument in a set and where to know when to DJ!

Day 4 is your metamophesis into a beutiful butterfly! Spread your wings and let’s fly toegher. I will help you create a signature hybrid set, how to record, record your set, discuss your future branding, how to 3x to 10x your pricing, and new booking strategies to get your new offer in your current clients’ parties!

How It Works

  • Browse our upcoming event dates to find the one that feels right for you. We host events year-round in all different locations but are primarily focusing in the Boston, NYC, and Upper New England area.

  • Submit your application so that we can qualify you as a professional musician. If you are qualified to reserve your spot within 24 hours of notification with a $250 deposit. All deposits are non-refundable. All remaining payments must be made 24 hours in advance of the first class.

  • After booking, we'll send you a Welcome Packet with everything you need to know—detailed schedules, packing list recommendations, add-ons to consider, and more.

  • We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.

  • Now all that's left to do is pack your bags and get excited for your new adventure.
